Al Lathif Islamic Primary School Student Shakti Muhammad Nur Alamin Wins Four Medals at Maestro Swimming Fun Festival II

Bandung, Indonesia - Shakti Muhammad Nur Alamin, a fourth-grade student at Al Lathif Islamic Primary School, won four medals at the Maestro Swimming Fun Festival II held at the Maestro Swimming Pool in Bandung on Sunday, December 18, 2023. Shakti achieved first place in the 25-meter butterfly and breaststroke events, second place in the 25-meter fins freestyle event, and third place in the 25-meter freestyle event.

 

Shakti expressed his happiness and pride in his accomplishment. "Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to be able to win four medals in this competition. This is the result of hard training and prayers from my parents and teachers. I am also grateful to my coach, who always motivates and guides me," he said.

 

Shakti shared that he has loved swimming since he was a child. He participates in extracurricular swimming and a swimming club. He trains regularly every week and maintains a healthy diet and sleep schedule to stay fit and healthy.

 

Meanwhile, the principal of Al Lathif Islamic Primary School, Ustadzah Sri Tubillah Noor, applauded Shakti's achievement. "We are very proud of Shakti, who has shown his talent and potential in swimming. We always support and encourage our students to develop their interests and talents, both in academic and non-academic fields. We hope that Shakti can continue to achieve and be an example for other students," she said.

 

The Maestro Swimming Fun Festival II is a swimming competition participated in by students from various schools and swimming clubs in Bandung and surrounding areas. The competition aims to foster interest and talent in swimming among children and to foster friendship and sportsmanship among the participants. The competition consists of various events and categories, ranging from 25 meters to 100 meters, and from 6 years old to 18 years old.

 

Shakti's success at the Maestro Swimming Fun Festival II is a testament to his dedication, hard work, and support from his family, teachers, and coach. His achievement is also a source of pride for Al Lathif Islamic Primary School and an inspiration for other students to pursue their passions and dreams.
